Pro in een nieuw jasje

De iPhone 15 Pro is de opvolger van de succesvolle iPhone 14 Pro en brengt natuurlijk weer veel nieuwigheden met zich mee. Waar bij de vorige modellen vooral de verschillen aan de binnenkant te vinden waren is er dit jaar ook veel gewijzigd aan het design van de iPhone. Niet alleen de kleuren zijn namelijk veranderd, maar ook de vormgeving van het toestel. Waar de overgang van de voor- en achterzijde naar de zijkanten bij de iPhone 14 Pro nog recht en straks is, geldt voor de iPhone 15 Pro dat er gekozen is voor een meer ronde overgang. Bovendien is de behuizing van de iPhone 15 Pro gemaakt van titanium en niet meer van rvs. Dit geeft het toestelniet alleen een andere uitstraling, maar zorgt ook voor een afname in het gewicht.

Andere verschillen in de vormgeving vinden we aan de zijkant en aan de onderkant van het toestel. De bekende mute-schakelaar is hier verdwenen en vervangen door een actieknop. Deze kan je instellen om bij het indrukken van de knop automatisch je iPhone een actie uit te laten voeren, zoals het aanzetten van je zaklamp. De iPhone 14 Pro heeft deze knop nog niet, waardoor je dus enkel de mute-schakelaar kan gebruiken om het geluid van je telefoon aan-of uit te zetten. Verder is de lightning aansluiting die we op de iPhone 14 Pro vinden vervangen door een USB-C aansluiting. Je laad de iPhone 15 Pro dus op met een USB-C kabel.

Verandering in kleuren

Ook dit jaar heeft Apple de nieuwe iPhone telefoons natuurlijk weer in een aantal nieuwe kleuren uitgebracht. De nieuwe kleuren zijn echter niet de enige verandering. Er is namelijk ook een kleur verdwenen! De iPhone 15 Pro kan je namelijk niet meer bestellen in de gouden kleur, daar waar dit bij de iPhone 14 Pro (en oudere modellen) wel nog het geval was. Daar voor in de plaats is de kleur naturel gekomen. Daarnaast is de iPhone 15 Pro ook beschikbaar in een donkerblauwe kleur, zoals dit eerder al het geval was bij de iPhone 12 Pro. De witte en zwarte kleur zijn wel gewoon weer beschikbaar.

Nieuwe chip voor iPhone 15 Pro

Net als vorig jaar hebben ook dit jaar de Pro modellen weer een volledig nieuwe chip gekregen. In de iPhone 15 Pro vinden we dan ook de nieuwste A17 Pro Chip, terwijl de iPhone 14 Pro nog de A16 Bionic Chip heeft. En hoewel beide chips natuurlijk ontzettend snel en stabiel zijn, is de A17 chip absoluut een flinke stap vooruit. Dit komt voornamelijk door de kleinere nanometer, welke is verkleind van 4nm naar 3nm. Dit zorgt niet alleen voor meer snelheid, maar zeker ook voor meer efficiëntie. Dit maakt dat de iPhone 15 Pro een stuk zuiniger omgaat met de batterij, waardoor deze langer mee gaat.Daarnaast is het werkgeheugen verhoogd van 6 GB naar 8 GB.
