It offers impressive protection

The best feature of the Beautiful Bodies Case is how much it protects my iPhone 12 Pro. It has survived multiple hard falls, sometimes several times a day. Most drops have been onto the hard-surfaced floors in my apartment, but some have happened on hard pavement. There were a few times when I was nearly positive I'd pick up my phone to find that it had a cracked screen after being dropped, but it was still in mint condition. The case is made of a thick silicone that is super durable, which was apparent upon opening it, and it indeed did its job by ensuring my phone would remain undamaged.

Apart from shattered glass, my phone didn't gain any new scratches during my testing period. After each fall, I'd also remove the case to examine the backside and glass surrounding the camera, and they were still scratch-free. One of my biggest pet peeves on a smartphone is a scratched-up surface. With my phone's matte backside, I knew it might be more prone to scratches and dents, but I haven't gained any since switching to a Velvet Caviar case. Apart from my phone not being damaged, the case stayed in perfect condition. For the time I used it, the case gathered zero scratches, chipped paint, or dents. The brand certainly lived up to its claims of being scratch-resistant and offering complete protection to your phone.

Velvet Caviar has many cases with fun, unique designs, and the Beautiful Bodies case is undoubtedly one of them. I love the minimalist, delicate, thin-lined drawings of the female silhouette. Velvet Caviar prides itself on being by women and for women, and it was nice to see female body positivity being promoted in its products. This was also one of the very few times I opted for a case that wasn't clear or solid-colored, and it was nice to have something new and different to look at each day. I also received several compliments from others when they saw the case. Many were curious about the brand and wanted to purchase one themselves.

It's made of high-quality plastic and silicone

As soon as I unboxed the Beautiful Bodies case, I noticed how well-made it was. The case is thick but still doesn't feel bulky in your hands. I've tried Otterbox cases for top-tier protection in the past, but I'd quickly change them because they were too thick and I could barely hold my phone or fit it in my pocket. I didn't have this issue at all with my Velvet Caviar case. It didn't add unnecessary weight or width to my phone—I could hold it easily and fit it into my pocket without any issues.

What I don't like about the Beautiful Bodies case?

It's a bit hard to press side buttons

The only drawback I have about the Beautiful Bodies case is that I struggled to push my phone's volume and power buttons in the early days of the testing period. When I first unboxed the case, the instructions advised me to stretch out the bumpers near the buttons and hold it for 15 seconds. It said to repeat this a few times to ensure the case wasn't too stiff and tight on my phone. I followed the instructions but still noticed tightness and struggled to use the buttons, especially the volume-up button. The case eventually loosened to a more comfortable fit, but it took a bit more stretching and using the case to get there.

Is the Beautiful Bodies case worth it?

Yes, especially if you're a klutz, like me

Testing the Beautiful Bodies case has proven to me that Velvet Caviar's cases are as durable as the brand claims. I loved that it blended top-notch protection and stylish designs so easily—most cases I've tested only offered one or the other. It's the perfect case for those on the clumsier side who often drop their phones. It's made me a bit less cautious and overprotective of my phone, especially when I'm out and about and more likely to lose grip of it. I always felt that my phone was in good hands and would be safe regardless of whether or not it took a hard fall.
