Rated 5 out of 5 by Carver from Great for work A couple of my coworkers had these and I was super confused about what they even were because they looked like headphones but don’t go in your ear… once my boss told me about his I was sold. I have a job that requires me to hear the things around me and especially a walkie talkie which gives me tasks to complete. The radio in my tractor is too loud for that but these are the perfect workaround with amazing battery life. I love the pause button location. Only complaint is that when I press pause, it takes a second or two for my music/podcast to actually pause. Otherwise, these headphones are super legit and an absolute gamechanger for workers.

I walk my dog every day in the park and I want to make sure while I listen to music or audiobooks I can still hear when people are around me. This is my 4th pair. Each pair lasts about 3 years, so I've been wearing this brand for almost 12 years! Every time I get a new pair the sound quality and fit get better. I do have one tiny complaint. The previous OpenRun Pro were waterproof enough where I could listen to them in the shower as long as I wasn't washing my hair. If a single drop of water gets on the bottom of this latest pair, sound quality goes fuzzy. No worries, though. Besides that, I'm still in love with these.

The registration process in the app is an absolute joke! You have 60 seconds to input a secret code, create a password, and confirm a password, and then finish. Unfortunately, the timer starts before you even receive the email.In trying to log in and reach their help department, I landed on a SalesForce login page. Which leads me to believe that my information may not be safe if they can't protect their own...I'm very disciplined with this product to say the least...

I have worn these all day, every day for 2 months now and it's never bothered me like headphones did. I can listen to music all day and take a few phone calls and I usually have 80% battery life by the end of the day. I usually don't write reviews but these are worth it. Only suggestion I have would be optional clip on sound deflectors that help channel sound from the units to the ear as sometimes in noisy environments I have to cup my hands over my ears to hear the caller clearly but even with that these far surpass anything else I've used

Rated 3 out of 5 by Derek P. from Good and Bad I have the Open move as well so my review will compare the two. Sound quality is excellent, but it also doesn't seem to get as loud as the Open move. I purchased these so get the rear wraparound lower for better clearance with over the ear hats. Unfortunately the fit compared to the Open move is worse. It causes pain around my ears after a couple hours. Sooner if worn for consecutive days. They pair quicker and are easier to use. The pause/play multi use button is a little harder to hit, which means my bike helmet doesn't hit it randomly but then is more cumbersome.Overall I would not have purchased them if not for my cold climate needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by John G. from Decreased quality I'm a multiple-version Shokz owner. Love the brand and the earphones. I have a new pair of Open Run Pros. All of the features and performance seem to be there for this version, but there are two spots where this model seems to lack the performance of past models. The two-mode EQ does not make the same difference when worn in airplanes or used in noisy environments. Older models of Shokz had 3-mode EQ to assist in delivering the bone-conducting sound. Second, the overall volume in this most recent version appears to be less capable. Recommend back to 3 or more EQ modes and increased volume. All that to be said, best open-ear product on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rebecca S. from Best Headphones for Running, Cycling, Working out Durable and fairly waterproof, no little rubber bits to lose or places to collect sweat and get crusty. I spray a little 70% IPA on a paper towel and wipe them off after a workout. The fact that they work through bone conduction and let you hear the environment is nice, sounds as good as traditional earbuds. Single best feature is that the earbuds are physically connected by the headband, much better solution than other brands that try to use bluetooth pairing between the earbuds that always fails. I have conch piercings that are not bothered, glasses are fine too. Tragus piercing may be a deal breaker due to how these sit in front of the ear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Laura S. from Still not small enough I so wanted to be free from putting earbuds in my ear, so I had high hopes. But I'm petite enough that even the size small were too big, and uncomfortable with my hair worn down over them. Possibly the pair I had were malfunctioning, but I would hear an occasional "bzzip" sound. Lastly, while I think I have strong hearing, I would turn these all the way up and still struggle to hear over auto sounds. I hope a smaller pair will eventually be released and that a snugger fit will improve the sound quality, or that the band could be adjustable depending on hair styles? I wish the new earbuds were bone conducting, then the size of the band wouldn't matter.

The Shokz headsets are great for wireless communication, though we can't 100% verify suitability, as they are a 3rd party, and would be based on app limitations if applicable. Hope this helps! ^CO
