Plant-Based Christmas Recipe Roundup (2024)

It’s that time of year when the days are shorter, at least in the Western hemisphere, and the holidays are upon us. If you’re celebrating with family and friends, this plant-based Christmas recipe roundup is sure to help you decide.

We’re spending a quiet holiday this year, and I am looking forward to making a few delicious plant-based holiday recipes. That’s why I’ve got this plant-based Christmas roundup for you, which includes recipes from some of my fellow food bloggers. These are all vegan.

What About Oil, Sugar, and Sodium?

Watch out for plant-based recipes if you’re searching for them online because many food bloggers with plant-based recipe labels have added oils, processed sugar, and too much sodium. Check out my article, The Truth About Plant-Based Recipes and Products, for more details about this phenomenon.

Since it can be difficult to find truely whole food, plant-based recipes with no oil, processed sugars and low sodium, you might find a little in some of these recipes. So, make adjustments where you feel necessary.

It’s easy to leave the oil out for sauteeing or in a salad dressing, and you can often cut back on sugar and salt in most recipes.

It is the holiday season, so maybe a little splurging isn’t totally out of order, but do what feels right for you. And, enjoy.

From appetizers to main dishes, sides, beverages, and even desserts, I’ve got you covered.
