Christopher J. Soquet: 54 years old of Antioch, IL passed away unexpectedly Thursday December 22, 2022. He was born December 27, 1967, in Des Plaines, IL the son of Lawrence Soquet and Pamela Bauer. Living in Schaumburg, IL before settling in Antioch, IL in 1998. Christopher worked as a Commercial Auto Parts Deliverer for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, Fox Lake, IL, previously working as a material handler at Bass Pro Shops, Gurnee, IL. Chris enjoyed: building and racing RC cars, trucks, and rock climbers, boating, snowmobiling, and especially loved being with his family. Christopher loved being a grandfather to Lily and a companion to his dog Dusty. On February 20, 1993, Chris married Shari Myers in Elgin, IL.
Survivors include: his wife of 29 years Shari; a son Steve of Lake Villa, IL; his granddaughter Lily; father Lawrence Soquet of Hudson, FL; mother-in-law Marsha Myers of Mesa, AZ; siblings: Dan (Diane) Soquet of Bartlett, IL and Todd Soquet of FL; a stepsister Stacy Pop of CA, and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held from 1pm until 4pm Saturday January 28, 2023 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL.
