Galaxia Dental is a state-of-the-art practice that was built with a focus on superior patient care. Our mission is to provide excellent pediatric and family dental care in a nurturing, positive, and family-oriented environment. Our philosophy is to work together as a team with parents and our patients to establish trust and confidence and provide our patients with a beautiful and healthy smile that will last a lifetime.
Our office is equipped with the latest technology that enhances delivery of care with a focus on patient comfort, patient safety, and patient education. In addition, our waiting room is equipped with multiple Tv's, an iPad station, a theater, arcade games and PlayStation 4's, and a photo booth.
We take pride in having a practice that reflects our commitment to creating a positive and fun environment for our patients, and our continued involvement in our community.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jose Fernando Gonzalez
Dr. Jose Fernando Gonzalez grew up near Monterrey, Mexico before moving to Texas, and graduating from Roma High School in South Texas. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. Since then, he has been in Dallas, where he received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He has practiced dentistry in Oak Cliff, North Dallas, and now Pleasant Grove for over 10 years. Dr. Gonzalez and his team focus on providing the highest quality oral health care in a soothing and comfortable environment.
Dr. Daniela Canales
Dr. Daniela Canales is from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. She graduated with honors from University of the Incarnate Word and earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Afterwards, she earned a Biomedical Science Certificate from the University of Texas at Dallas. After concluding her time at University of Texas at Dallas, she attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Canales has a philosophy of giving back to the community and has participated in various outreach programs in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and South Texas. Dr. Canales loves to see her patients smile and it is her goal to provide quality dental care to her patients as well as build trust with them to make their dental visit a pleasant experience. In her spare time, Dr. Canales enjoys attending concerts, traveling, interior decorating, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Leticia Castaneda
Dr. Leticia Castaneda grew up in Dallas, TX and attended the University of North Texas where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she obtained a Biomedical Science Certificate from the University of Texas in Dallas. She earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the Texas A&M College of Densitry. Her goal is to provide comprehensive and consitent dental care in the most professional and caring manner. She is a devoted participant and volunteer in the Dallas community.
