The advantages of the Apple Watch 4G (Cellular)
The Apple Watch 4G, also known as the Apple Watch Cellular or Apple Watch LTE, is a smartwatch with a digital SIM card. With an eSIM in your Apple Watch, you can use the internet on your smartwatch without needing your iPhone. That means you can also call via your watch if you don't have your iPhone on you. Not all providers offer eSIM phone plans. Make sure your provider supports eSIM before you purchase an Apple Watch 4G. Without an eSIM in the Apple Watch 4G, you can still use all features of the watch, but you'll need your smartphone for some of them.

What's the Always On screen of Apple?
With Always On, the screen of your Apple Watch never turns completely black. Your watch face is always visible and dims automatically. The Apple Watch 5 and newer have the Always On function. Always On is also a function on the Series 9, the latest Apple Watch series. The Apple Watch SE doesn't have an Always On screen.
