It came out in early 2020, replacing the 4th generation iPad Air. The new tech features and upgrades in this mid-range tablet include a new M1 chip, a new front-facing camera, and a unique finish. Otherwise, it still keeps the features found in the previous generations such as a large Liquid Retina Display, Touch ID power button, work on the 5G network, wide camera, and support for the Apple Pencil (2 Gen) and Magic Keyboard.
