Supported songs automatically play in Dolby Atmos when you're listening with: AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, AirPods (3rd generation), or Beats Fit Pro with Spatial Audio turned on. AirPods (1st or 2nd generation).
Unfortunately, the standard AirPods (first, second, and third-generation models) don't have ANC. This is because they don't feature eartips like the AirPods Pro to seal outside sound. Instead, each earbud is a single unit, with the plastic tip sitting just inside a user's ear.
Is it worth buying AirPods 2 in 2024? In 2024, buying AirPods (2nd generation) may not be the best investment. They lack several features present in newer models, such as the IPX4 water-resistant rating, spatial audio support, and a MagSafe charging case.
