Aeroplan and Starbucks Promotion Terms and Conditions
Eligibility:
To be eligible to earn Aeroplan points ("Points") with Starbucks or convert Points to Starbucks Stars (“Stars”), you must:
- Be an Aeroplan member and have an account in good standing, all in accordance with Aeroplan’s Terms and Conditions;
- Be a Canadian Starbucks Rewards member and have an account in good standing, all in accordance with the Starbucks Rewards Terms of Use; and
- Link your Aeroplan Program account and Starbucks Rewards account by following the prompts available at aircanada.com/starbucks (“Account Linking”). You can only link one Starbucks Rewards account with one Aeroplan account. You can de-link your accounts at any time. However, if you choose to de-link your accounts, you will no longer be eligible to earn Points in accordance with these Aeroplan and Starbucks Promotion terms and conditions.
- Once you’ve completed Account Linking, you can earn and redeem points as described below.

¹New Starbucks Rewards Member Bonus. If you join Starbucks Rewards for the first time, you are eligible to earn a one-time bonus of 500 Points after Account Linking when you make your first Starbucks Rewards purchase at a Participating1 Starbucks Store within seven days of creating your Starbucks Rewards account. You must pay using your digital Starbucks Card or linked payment method in the Starbucks app, or by scanning your Starbucks app at the register prior to checkout. This offer is open to new Canadian Starbucks Rewards account holders only. If you are currently a Canadian Starbucks Rewards member, or have ever been a member, you are not eligible for this offer.
²25 Point Reload Offer.You can earn 25 Points when you load $50 - $74.99 (CAD) to your digital Starbucks Card in the Starbucks app or Starbucks Rewards online account in a single transaction (for example, multiple reloads of $25 or more will not qualify). You can also earn 25 Points in-person at the register by scanning the barcode in your Starbucks app and then adding $50 - $74.99 (CAD) to any physical Starbucks Card in a single transaction.
³100 Point Reload Offer.You can earn 100 Points when you load $75 (CAD) or more to your digital Starbucks Card in the Starbucks app or Starbucks Rewards online account in a single transaction (for example, multiple reloads of $25 or more will not qualify). You can also earn 100 Points in-person at the register by scanning the barcode in your Starbucks app and then adding $75 (CAD) or more to any physical Starbucks Card in a single transaction.
An “Eligible Transaction” is any purchase of food, beverage(s), and/or merchandise, excluding alcoholic beverages and Starbucks Card activations and reloads.
“Participating Starbucks Stores” are Starbucks locations in Canada that honor Starbucks Rewards. To locate stores that honor Starbucks Rewards, visit www.starbucks.ca/store-locator and look for stores that list “Redeem Rewards” as one of the store amenities.
⁴StarbucksStar Conversion: You can convert your Points into Stars at a rate of 400 Points for 100 Stars when you log into your Aeroplan account and visit your dashboard here and have a minimum Points balance of 400 Points. Once you convert your Points into Stars, you cannot reverse the conversion. Stars converted from Points are subject to the Starbucks Rewards terms of use. As a result, Stars converted from Points will expire six months after the calendar month in which such Stars were converted. For example, if you converted Stars on December 15, 2021, they will expire on July 1, 2022. The Stars in your Starbucks Rewards account are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friend or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose.
